The Nenuphar dress is the star of the show this season. It is made from Irish linen sourced in Donegal and delicate silk chiffon. It is flared below the bust where ten godets of silk chiffon have been inserted.
Each godet has been trimmed with a ribbon.
It is lined with linen and zipped on the left.
I am very proud of this piece because of all the work that has gone into it and its resulting ease, flow, and beauty.
It has the fluidity of water and deploys itself like a flower when you move, hence the French name Nenuphar, meaning water-lily.
The dress comes with its own teal silk chiffon shawl.
This piece can only be dried clean, in an eco-friendly dry cleaner. It is too delicate to handwash.
